Presentation

My name is Susanna Kallström. I am a 21-year-old student from Kouvola, which is situated in the southern Finland.

At the moment I’m doing my translation studies at the department of translation studies in Kouvola at the Helsinki University. My major is Swedish.

Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I was 12 years old when my biggest dream came true and the dog of my life, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Masi, Mindare’s Trombi At Hero came into our lives. Masi has really taught me a lot about dogs and I am ever so grateful to this dog for giving me this chance and lots of new friends. Masi has competed in blood tracking, obedience and dog shows. In 2002 I got a bitch puppy from Pirkko Wallin, as she mated Masi’s sister, lovely Miina, FIN CH Mindare’s Trombi At Iris. Ansa competes in agility, dog shows and blood tracking and shows lots of promise.

I have presented a lot of my friends’ dogs at shows, not just tollers but also goldens and curlies.

I also have some non-dog activities as a hobby. I’m some kind of a sport addict and I love to attend BodyPump- and spinning-classes almost daily.
