27.02.2008 - ARRIVAL

So, this is the first time for us outside Finland, ever. There were so many possibilities for tours earlier but now it's for real! Come on!

The tour started at 10.00 AM loading gear to Jarmo's car and driving to Tampere airport and flying to Frankfurt-Hahn. We arrived to Germany at 18.00 PM and Karsten was meeting us there with his buddy, Marcus and Peter the dog. Then only 600 km driving to Karsten's hometown Bischofswerda. Travelling ended around 2.00 AM.

Ready for action

28.02.2008 - DRESDEN TOURISM

Good morning boys! After a short sleep we started our day with a nourishing breakfast. We decided to visit the neighbour city Dresden. Good day altogether; visiting old town, drinking beer, playing pool, eating döners, pizzas, hamburgers. Nice!

29.02.2008 - ZITTAU

Karsten did a great egg based breakfast
Omelette by Kari - dig in! With stomachs full we drove to get our guitar amps and bass gear. Then we headed to the evening's venue called Emil.

The club was packed with people. Identity Kills and Days of Grace warmed up the audience and we were the headliners. The show went really well, Saku and Harri screamed some backing vocals while Jaakko and Lauri banged their heads.

01.03.2008 - SPREMBERG

Hangover and bad condition. Still we went to Bautzen on the way to Spremberg. Bautzen was a exoting city with nice views. We had magnificent food and the serving monks were friendly at the restaurant.

We played the shortest set in Spremberg. Audience was good and we had a good time and got new friends.

02.03.2008 - TOURISM

The best day of our lives! We went to Königstein to visit a massive castle. Wonderful views and good times!

03.03.2008 - DAY OFF #3

Nothing to do. Lauri, Jaakko and Harri went out to look for the postoffice while others went to the supermarket to get some supplies. Luckily boys know their German very good and found their way to the postal service.

05.03.2008 - BUDWEIS

Finally some action. We packed our gear to the van and travelled through Czech Republic to Budweis for the third show.

The venue was awesome and Vikk the promoter was a true gentleman, thank you for everything!

06.03.2008 - JENA

Driving through the CZ back to Germany. Ghost Brigade's Wilfe told us some good words about the evening's club, Rosenkeller. And it was great - the perfect place to play some distorted stoner death metal (with some brilliant stoner rock bands).

Leipzig venue was a very strange place. It was a big labyrinth castle under the ground. Fleshcrawl played the headlining set and we were a warm up for them. Very tough crowd but still we played a strong set.

The last gig was in place called Skullcrusher. Nice small venue for us to play. Crowd was excellent and it was a good way to end the tour. Thanks for everybody showing up at the shows!

09.03.2008 - JOURNEY TO HOME

Tears of sadness in the sea of sorrow. Last day in Germany before heading back home. The tour was absolutely fantastic and we're already eager to get back for more.

The journey home was long. Nobody seek safety from Kupoli... not until the next weekend.
